Geneva to Zermatt limousine

Chauffeur-driven limousine from Geneva to the Täsch terminal, gateway to car-free Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn.

Zermatt is a car-free resort: no combustion-engine vehicle enters it. The limousine journey from Geneva therefore ends at Täsch, the village below, where a terminal was built for exactly this. Your chauffeur drops you there with your luggage; the rail shuttle or your hotel’s electric taxi covers the last few minutes to the foot of the Matterhorn. We organise the connection; you only have to follow.

The Geneva – Zermatt (Täsch) journey

From Geneva Airport or your address, the motorway follows Lake Geneva, crosses the Chablais and runs up the whole Rhône valley: Martigny, Sion, Sierre, Visp. The road then leaves the plain for the Matter valley up to Täsch. It is a long journey; it is made in a quiet Mercedes, with Wi-Fi, and a stop if you wish. In winter the vehicle is equipped for the mountains.

Arrival at Täsch and the climb to Zermatt

  • Täsch terminal — drop-off at the Matterhorn Terminal, luggage trolleys, rail shuttle to Zermatt every few minutes
  • Electric taxis — most Zermatt hotels run their own electric shuttle from Täsch: we coordinate the time with your hotel
  • Zermatt hotels — Mont Cervin Palace, Riffelalp Resort, The Omnia, Cervo, Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, Beau Site
  • Valley — Visp, Brig, Saas-Fee (also car-free), Grächen, Leukerbad

The right car for Zermatt

A couple with skis travels in an E-Class or S-Class; a family or a group of friends in a V-Class, seven passengers and ten bags; a group of up to sixteen in a Sprinter. Bear in mind that your luggage changes hands at Täsch: wheeled suitcases make the connection easier. See the fleet →

Frequently asked questions

Why does the limousine stop at Täsch?

Because Zermatt bans combustion-engine vehicles. Täsch is the official terminal: rail shuttle or your hotel’s electric taxi for the last stretch.

Do you help with the connection at Täsch?

Yes. The chauffeur drops you in front of the terminal, unloads the luggage onto a trolley and points you to the shuttle. We can let your hotel know your arrival time.

Can the return leave from Visp rather than Täsch?

Yes. Many clients take the train down to Visp; the chauffeur waits there with a board bearing their name.

Do you serve Saas-Fee?

Yes. Saas-Fee is also car-free: the drop-off is at the entrance car park, where the hotels’ electric taxis take over.
